Glazed Ham Steaks
  1. 2lbs. Cob-Smoked Ham Steaks
  2. ½ c. Pure Vermont Maple Syrup
  3. 1 cup Dry White Wine*
  4. ½ c. Orange Juice
  5. 2 tbs. Dry Mustard
  6. 2 tbs. Corn Starch
  7. ½ tsp. Ground Ginger
  8. 1 tbs. White Wine Vinegar
Dissolve cornstarch in white wine vinegar; set aside. Combine all ingredients including, except for ham steaks in saucepan. Add cornstarch mixture and bring to a slow boil, stirring often. Reduce heat and simmer for 4 minutes. Grill ham for 7 minutes on each side. Baste both sides of steak with sauce while grilling. Transfer steak to serving platter a pour remaining sauce on top. SERVES 2 * Chicken Broth may be substituted for white wine.
