Sam's Maple Porridge |

1 cup maple syrup

1/2 cup dark molasses

6 cups water

1 tsp cinnamon

1 1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. ground ginger

1 qt. oatmeal

1/2 tsp. nutmeg

4 eggs
|

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

1 tsp whole milk
|

1/2 lb dark raisins
|
|
Heat water and salt to a boil. Add oatmeal and cook 5 minutes. Add rest of ingredients. Pour in a greased baking pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour. |
