Pure Vermont Maple Syrup Muffins
  1. 2 cups sifted flour
  2. ¼ cup butter
  3. ¼ cup sugar
  4. 1 egg
  5. 3 tsp. baking powder
  6. ½ cup milk
  7. ½ tsp. salt
  8. ½ cup Pure Vermont Maple Syrup
Preheat over to 400°F. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in mixing bowl. Cut in butter until well blended. Beat egg, milk, and maple syrup and stir into dry ingredients just until blended. Do not over beat. Fill greased or paper-lined muffin tins 2/3 full and bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.
